Tippy

<p>Tippy is a&nbsp; 2 year old puggle mix. She is currently about 16 pounds.&nbsp; When she first arrived she was skinny and scared.&nbsp; Tippy is starting to come out of her shell and she is surprising us with something new everyday. She is up to a healthy weight and she is absolutely adorable! She has gone from hiding in our closet to jumping up on our bed to sleep with us at night. She is still learning to enjoy being petted but she is learning a lot from our resident dog and I really think that having another dog in the house has been so great for her.</p><br/><p>Tippy has learned to go outside from our dog and has not had an accident in over a month! She even knows the word &ldquo;outside&rdquo; now and she gets very excited when she hears it, she enjoys our fenced in backyard because she loves to run around outside. Its so amazing watching her grow and learn to love things instead of being so scared of everything, she has come such a long way already and it has only been a matter of months! She may have a little ways to go to become a cuddly lap dog but I think with a little more time, patience and love she will keep surprising us.</p><br/><p>Tippy is spayed and up to date with shots. She is heartworm and intestinal parasite free. Tippy is microchipped and her adoption fee is $300</p><br/><ul><br/><li>You must fill out an adoption application before you are allowed to meet the animal. Please note that SDR is philosophical opposed to the idea of buying and selling animals, and we support any future legislation that would remove sales tax from adoption fees. Until then, however, we must charge it.</li><br/><li>We are offering a microchip placement for your resident dog for small donation to our rescue</li><br/><li>Please note that we do not have a shelter, and all dogs are in foster homes.
