Meet Tippi, a precious 4 year old, 10 pound female Shih Tzu/Poodle mix. Tippi was surrendered by her family who could no longer afford to take care of her and Woof Rescue removed her from the Manhattan shelter last week. Tippi was filthy and painfully matted and was immediately taken to be groomed. <br/><br/>While she now has a needed short haircut, she is still adorable and charming. Her personality has blossomed now that she is being well-cared for. Tippi is well on her way to being housebroken as she is a smart little lady. We believe she would <br/>do best with a single owner and is a little skittish around men. She seems to prefer a quiet, laid back environment. <br/><br/>During walks, she barks to “protect” her foster mom, but otherwise is not an excessive barker. She would be okay with another calm small to medium sized adult dog. Tippi is extremely affectionate and loves to be held and cuddled.
