Tippi's Story

**Dog breeds listed are best guesses from veterinary professionals, they are never a guarantee. www.brownpawsrescue.com.

Tippi is a beautiful red-colored mixed breed girl who is ready to land in her forever home. At three years old, Tippi is potty trained, crate trained, but needs work on leash walking. This is a new concept to her as Tippi was a street dog and came into rescue with her two pups. Pups have been weaned and placed into foster homes. Tippi has been spayed and been enjoying learning how to be a house dog. She has figured out couches are nice places. Her favorite place to be though is nearby where a human she trusts is where she will curl up and take a nap.

Tippi has moments where she plays like a silly puppy and that is endearing to see. She definitely needs some carefree days in her life. Tippi is quiet - I don't think we have heard her bark yet She waits patiently for meal time, potty times, getting treats time. She has just started showing great excitement if her foster is gone for a while and then comes back. Tippi will bond very well with her new family. She will just need a few days of quiet trust building.

Tippi does have a turned out foot. Looks to be possibly an old injury. Does not bother her a bit and doesn't slow her down. It gives her character. She often looks like a model posing with that one foot turned out. She certainly is beautiful enough to be a model - those eyes are so unique and expressive. Full grown at 21 lbs., Tippy is wonderfully sized. She's a ready to drop in your home kind of dog.
