Tiny Terrier:meet Hadassah- your new BFF's Story
Meet Hadassah, our tiny warrior. 💕 She is aprox. eight years old.
We call her special needs because
this sweet girl recently had surgery to remove several mammary tumors — and we’re thrilled to share that all of them were fully removed, with no sign of spread. Two were low-grade, one was intermediate, and her overall prognosis is very good.

With simple routine checkups and a loving home, Hadassah is expected to enjoy a long, comfortable life. She’s recovered beautifully and is now ready for a family who will cherish her gentle heart.
Help us share her story so she can find her happy ending. 🐾✨

Hadassah was being given away on a Harlem street. She was covered in mats of urine and feces. Her hair had grown through the harness she was wearing and her hair was so knotted she could barely walk. She had severe dental disease and several lumps that needed to be removed. The timing of crossing paths with her was magical so we named her "Hadassah" meaning Divine Gift.

Since that first day of September, we got her all the things, a full dental and she has a clear bill of health and she is ready to go.

Don't let her size fool you. This is a great little guard dog, a fierce protector and she LOVES to go on walks and sniff around and chase birds!!

She also LOVES a belly rub. And a good snack. And salad and spinach. We think she may have chicken allergy and she seems to do better on other foods. She can be a little picky about food. Her weight should not go over five pounds for optimal joint health. Tiny dogs like this often have bad kneecaps and she is no exception.

This little girl needs a home where she can get regular medical care. Her surgeons recommend 3 mo check ups her first year to monitor for any new lumps or bumps, and if anything shows up, it needs to be removed ASAP. They also recommend chest x-rays at least every six months the first year and an abdominal ultrasound. She also has some bad back knees so floor with rugs or non-slip surfaces are safer for her.

She is so brave and ready for LIFE after knowing only neglect and abandonment.
We would love to see her somewhere with access to a yard where she can run around and BE A DOG. As cuddly and cute as she is, this dog is NOT an accessory. She wants to do all the dog things like smell butts and chase squirrels.

She greets you at the dog with a helicopter tail wag and a belly up WELCOME HOME. She could have her belly rubbed for hours!!

Reach out for an application if you think she could be your girl!
