Tinsley's Story
Tinsley is about 8 years old and weighs just 14 pounds. She was found as a stray in South LA and ended up at the shelter with a couple of medical issues that made finding a home for her a little harder. She was dealing with pyometra, a serious uterine infection, and also has some arthritis. We brought her in, got her the care she needed, and thankfully she's feeling much better now that she's been spayed. Joint supplements are helping with the arthritis too.

And now we're getting to see the softer side of Tinsley. She's a quiet, gentle little girl who's perfectly happy to find a comfortable spot, settle in, and supervise everyone else from there. She enjoys her little walks around the world, but she's much more interested in finding a good place to lounge afterward.

She's a little shy, but once Tinsley decides she likes you, the transformation is pretty adorable. She'll happily climb into your lap, relax into your arms, roll over for belly rubs, and generally make herself very comfortable. Apparently, once you've passed the cuddle test, you're family.

Tinsley does well with other dogs especially the mellow ones who aren't interested in turning the living room into a racetrack. She'd probably appreciate having another calm dog around who understands that sometimes the best activity of the day is a big fat nap.

Her ideal home is going to be a quieter one, somewhere she can settle into a routine, have a soft place to sleep, and spend her days being loved instead of overlooked. A warm lap. A comfortable bed. Some treats. Someone who doesn't mind a little extra time earning her trust. That sounds like a pretty good life for Tinsley. Could you be the person who gives it to her? Please inquire today!
