Meet Tinsel, lovingly known as Tiny. Tinsel is an 8-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing just 10 pounds, with a huge heart and an even bigger love for people. He came to our rescue from South Carolina as a stray right before Christmas and has been an absolute joy ever since. Tinsel is a sweet, happy little soul whose favorite things in life are people, affection, and being close to those he loves. Gentle and easygoing, he has a way of instantly making you smile with his loving nature and calm, content presence. Belly rubs are his absolute favorite, and while he enjoys squeaky toys, nothing compares to quality time with his people. He gets along well with other dogs and is friendly to all. Tinsel may occasionally get a little too close when making new friends, but he is very respectful and will immediately back off if another dog sets a boundary. He is eager to please and a great listener, though sometimes adorably confused with commands. Ask him to sit and he might offer a paw or roll over instead. Tinsel is house trained and walks beautifully on leash with no pulling, making him an easy and enjoyable companion both at home and out on walks. This loving little guy is searching for a home that will appreciate his gentle spirit, playful charm, and endless desire to love and be loved.
