Tinsel's Story
Tinsel is the kind of guy who likes to take a little time before showing you his whole personality.

When you first meet him, he is pretty easy to like. He's quiet, polite, and easygoing, with a very much "whatever you'd like to do is fine with me" kind of attitude. He'll happily go with the flow, take things in, and quietly accept being around you. He doesn't come charging into the room demanding to be the center of attention. In fact, you might initially think Tinsel is a rather reserved guy.

And then he gets comfortable.

That's when you discover that the quiet, polite gentleman you've been getting to know...has opinions. Quite a few of them, actually!

Tinsel can be a little sassy once he decides you're safe. He may become vocal when he wants a treat, some attention, or perhaps just wants to make sure you've noticed that he has a very important thought to contribute. It's almost funny because you don't necessarily expect it from him at first. But in a way, it's one of the sweetest parts of getting to know Tinsel. Those opinions don't really come out until he's comfortable enough to let you see them.

And once that personality starts coming out, so does his goofy side.

Tinsel is a cuddly, playful guy who loves being with his people. He enjoys a good lap, a good toy, a good play session, and pretty much any opportunity to tag along for the adventure. Car rides are a particular favorite, and he'd happily be your copilot whenever you're headed somewhere. He's an easygoing guy most of the time, but every now and then that little spark of sass or dorkiness comes out to remind you that there's a lot more going on behind that quiet first impression.

Tinsel isn't the dog who walks into your life and immediately gives you his entire personality. He's more of a slow reveal. First comes the quiet, easygoing guy. Then, as he learns that you're safe and he's home, comes the cuddles, the playfulness, the goofy moments, and yes... the occasional sass.

And getting to watch that transformation is a pretty special part of knowing Tinsel.

He's not trying to impress you.

He's just finally comfortable enough to be himself.

Think Tinsel might be your kind of guy? Start by submitting an adoption application through our website below and earn yourself a front-row seat to the sass, cuddles, and goofy personality hiding underneath!

DOB: 2/6/2020

For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas.
Please fill out our online adoption survey at www.mackenzies.info/adopt/adoption-survey-application/
