Tinkerbelle's Puppy TILLY (female, no collar)'s Story

On January 13, 2026, sweet TINKERBELLE (a 6-year-old, 16 lb Chihuahua/Golden Retriever mix) welcomed her seven adorable puppies into the world. One is already spoken for, and the rest are ready to find their forever families!

These pups are soft, fluffy, playful, and incredibly sweet. They’ve been raised in a home with other dogs — and with a cat who absolutely adores them. Their feline friend BEI BEI happily plays with them and even grooms them, and the puppies adore him right back.

Thanks to this start in life, they’re growing up to be gentle, social companions who should make wonderful family pets.

Their baby daddy is TINKERBELLE’S adult son (a Maltese mix) from a previous litter who had moved back into the home. Both dogs were unaltered and nature took its course. It may surprise some people, but dogs will breed with relatives if given the chance — a good reminder of why spaying and neutering is so important to prevent accidental litters, and why TINKERBELLE will be spayed before going home to her family.

The tiniest member of the group is TILLY, the runt of the litter and a small brown girl with a big, joyful personality. TILLY was born with a misshaped rear left paw, and her rear right leg is missing the foot. As TILLY grows, we’ll determine whether her right leg may need surgical intervention, but right now she’s doing exactly what puppies do — playing, scooting around, and keeping up with her siblings like nothing is different at all.

These adorable fluffballs are ready to bring a lifetime of love and puppy kisses to their future homes.

If interested, please submit an online application to adopt a dog at passion4paws.org/adopt.

The puppies are being fostered in New Milford, CT. They will be fully vetted as part of their adoption once they are old enough.
