Tinkerbell's Story
Meet Tinkerbell A Little Dog with a Big Heart<br/>Don't let her tiny size fool you—Tinkerbell is overflowing with love! This adorable 12-year-old, 7.5-pound Chihuahua mix has proven that age is just a number. She still has plenty of pep in her step and loves to greet her favorite people with the cutest little trot and happy twirls whenever it's time for a meal or a walk. This gentle, easygoing girl enjoys all the simple pleasures in life—snuggling with her people, burrowing under cozy blankets, taking naps, enjoying treats, going for short walks, and spending time with friendly dogs. She's happiest when she's close to the people she loves and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend. Tinkerbell is both crate trained and potty trained. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night or when her foster family is away and politely waits by the door when she needs to go outside. Because of her small size, she does best with regular potty breaks during the day, although she comfortably holds it overnight. She walks nicely on a leash, isn't a big barker, doesn't chew or dig, and has very low exercise needs, making her a great fit for an apartment, condo, or home without a fenced yard. She gets along well with other friendly dogs and has done well meeting dogs of all sizes with proper introductions. Tinkerbell has been around teenagers and loves people of all ages. Because she is so tiny and can easily end up underfoot, she would do best with older, respectful children who understand how to be gentle with small dogs. Tinkerbell would thrive in a loving home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by affection, cozy blankets, and plenty of cuddles. Whether you're an experienced dog owner or welcoming your very first pet, this sweet little lady is adaptable, easy to care for, and ready to fill your home with love. Tinkerbell is up to date on her vaccines, microchipped, and ready to find the family she has always deserved. If you'd like to meet Tinkerbell, please contact us at adopt@carolinapaws.com.
