TINK's Story

Tink is in Washington, VA, which is 45 mins from Culpepper or Warrenton and about 35 mins from Lurray, VA.

Meet Tink, a 38 lb. Boxer mix. She is spayed, up to date on her vaccines and microchipped. Tink loves to love you and will return your love two-fold.
If you do not enjoy a dog on your lap or puppy kisses, this is not the dog for you.

Once shown the rules for potty training, she will ring the bells to go out. Got to get some bells for this girl! (She comes with her bells!)

Tink needs to be adopted for companionship and will be her best self with positive reinforcement. She is NOT crate trained due to her energy level and would be unhappy in a crate for long hours. She will do well with someone that is home a lot with her being the only one needing attention.

At night she expects to cuddle up with you with her little nose slightly tucked in the sheets. Other than cuddling, her favorite activities are retrieving and playing tug of war. Her Boxer energy would be great with older kids, not small ones, and she is most happy being her owners shadow.

Tink is slightly skittish. However, with gentle understanding of her fears, she works hard to be confident.

Tink’s Boxer personality will keep you in stitches. From her grunts when falling asleep, to her trying to get your attention, you'll have to decide what antics make her so much fun. This is why the name Rinky-Dink-Tink fits her so well.

If you're interested in meeting Tink or any of our other rescues, please email BoxerRescue@cox.net for an adoption application, to ask questions and to arrange a time to meet Tink.
