Tina's Story

Tina is an 10-month-old shepherd mix with a gentle heart, plenty of puppy energy, and a sweet, sensitive personality. She's smart, eager to learn, and is currently working on basic commands like sit, stay, and come. She is potty trained.

Tina can be shy and cautious when meeting new people. She takes time to build trust, but once she feels safe, she is incredibly sweet and affectionate. To set Tina up for success, she is seeking a home with at least one other dog. Having a canine companion helps her feel secure and continue building confidence.

She loves to play, run, and wrestle with her canine friends, and she definitely gets the zoomies! She is currently living with two adult shepherds and a cat and gets along well with all of them.

Tina is good with children and has done well around younger kids. However, because she can be nervous in new situations and appreciates having her space respected, we feel she would be most comfortable in a home with older children who can understand her cues and help her continue building confidence.

Tina is still a puppy and will benefit from continued training, structure, and consistency, but she has a wonderful foundation and is making great progress every day. With time, patience, and the support of another dog, Tina will make an incredibly rewarding companion.

Apply Here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FCOH/Dog

*If you are viewing this profile on Petfinder, please note integration issues between our shelter program and Petfinder often occur and limit what you can see.
