If you don't know the age, breed, weight, what vet care we provide our dogs, the adoption fee, or how to apply, you have not read the write-up.<br/><br/>Timmy<br/><br/>Breed: Yorkshire Terrier<br/>DOB: 5 years old<br/>Gender: Male, neutered<br/>Weight: ~5 pounds<br/>Microchipped<br/>Adoption Fee: $300<br/><br/>Timmy is a little cuddle bug who adores his people! He also likes to be with his people all the time and will tell you what he thinks of you if you aren't holding him or, God forbid, you have put him into another room while you work on something! <br/><br/>This little guy was found as a stray and ended up at a rural shelter in NC. His family obviously doted on him, so we are sad that he couldn't find them again. But he has adjusted quite well and is as happy as a clam in his foster home!<br/><br/>If there is an available lap, Timmy will ask to be picked up and held. He enjoys nap time and TV time and movie time and he LOVES walk time! He likes the park and sniffing everything. He's also delighted to find so many people who have come to the park just to meet him!<br/><br/>We have discovered that Timmy is a door darter. He will need a diligent and agile adopter who can get him if he sneaks out under foot. However, his foster has a screened in front porch which acts as a safety net should he get out. Teaching him to wait at the door should be relatively easy because he loves treats, as well! We are working on it, but his new family will have to be very cautious with doors and make sure they know where he is before opening any. All are tested for heartworms and, if they test positive, have either been treated or provided alternative slow-kill treatment. Dogs are provided monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Dogs are also provided additional medical care, as needed. This care may include amputations, wound repair, treatment for skin disorders, dental care, treatment for infection and other medical needs
