Timber is a 1-year-old pup who was heartbreakingly dumped at a high-kill shelter by a breeder when no homes could be found. Through it all, he has stayed gentle, resilient, and closely bonded with his brother Aspen. Timber is the more outgoing of the pair, with a friendly nature that helps his shyer brother feel secure. Together, they balance each other beautifully. Like Aspen, Timber is crate trained, great with other dogs, and still very young with so much potential ahead of him. These two boys are inseparable and REALLY need a forever home where they can stay together. For our adult dogs, we like to start with a "dating" period. After a couple of dates or more, we move to a sleepover and then gradually transition to a full-time relationship. We require a home check, references, ID, application, and contract for adoption. Our fees are different for current fosters who want to adopt versus outside adopters. They have already invested so much.
