He is a Shepherd/Husky mix with a survivor's heart and the sweetest smile.<br/><br/>TIMBER came to Noah's Arks Rescue in critical condition after being found severely starved, weak, wounded, and fighting life-threatening infection. His recovery was long, complicated, and anything but certain. Emergency care, surgeries, ICU treatment, and months of careful monitoring became part of his story.<br/><br/>But through all of it, TIMBER never lost his gentle spirit.<br/><br/>Today, TIMBER is cautiously healthy and finally enjoying the kind of life every dog should have known from the beginning. He loves people, loves attention, and has a quiet way of asking for affection that makes him impossible to ignore. He will rub up against you, lean in, and happily soak up the kindness being offered.<br/><br/>TIMBER enjoys yard time, toys, and checking out the world around him. At our facility, he loves running through the yard and taking in all the activity around him, but what he really looks forward to most are his walks.<br/><br/>TIMBER is clean every night and is most likely house-trained, though any dog will need guidance when transitioning into a new home.<br/><br/>TIMBER can be selective with other dogs. He has shown some reactivity toward larger dogs during meet-and-greets, though he has done well around calmer small dogs in the past. Any canine match would need to be thoughtful, calm, and carefully introduced.
