Timber's Story

Meet Timber!

Timber is one of our lucky 4th of July miracle babies. We pulled his mama, Hazel, from the shelter on the literal day of her scheduled spay-abort surgery when she was full-term pregnant. One week later, Timber and his 11 siblings were safely born into rescue!

Having grown up at our facility, Timber has been wonderfully socialized with both people and other dogs from day one.

True to his outdoorsy name, Timber is an enthusiastic little trail-blazer who approaches life with curiosity and a wagging tail. He loves investigating backyard stick collections, chasing toys, and turning everyday routines into fun mini-adventures. Once playtime winds down, he’s right there at your feet, waiting for ear scratches and lap time. If you’re looking for an upbeat, affectionate buddy to grow with you, Timber is your guy!
