Tilly's Story

Tilly is a 6 year old female Cattle Dog/Heeler mix who weighs about 32lbs. She is pretty short and a bit stocky. Tilly is very shy at first, but bonds strongly with her person once she is comfortable. She loves pets and giving kisses.

Tilly is VERY smart! She loves carrying around stainless steel bowls, and will try stacking them to see if she can hold more than one at a time! She listens very well.

Tilly loves toys, but needs strong/durable toys as she likes to chew the stuffing out 😂 She LOVES Kongs filled with frozen peanut butter, pumpkin, apples and Greek yogurt. She also really likes dental chews.

Tilly does have separation anxiety and needs to be crated when her person leaves. She doesn't mind her crate at all, as she knows she gets a treat for going in. She does not herd people or animals, but will stare at you until you do what she wants 🤣

Tilly is potty trained and crate trained. She gets along with other dogs, but can get jealous if she isn't getting enough attention. She has met a cat and ignored him.

Tilly's ideal home would be quiet, with someone who is home relatively often, and willing to take her on walks and give her mental stimulation, before coming home to unwind with a dental treat or frozen Kong and cuddle on the couch.

Please email dancersbridgedogrescue@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting Tilly! 🥰
