What is City of Jerome Animal Shelter’s adoption process?

Potential adopters must be at least 18 years of age. The road to adoption begins with a pre-adoption application, which covers the basis of what kind of conditions the dog(s) will be living in. We often require a "meet & greet" between the dog you are interested in adopting and the dogs already established in the home. All dogs will leave the shelter spayed/neutered and vaccinated (this is non-negotiable). We reserve the right to deny an application for any reason.

Is Tilly good with kids?

Tilly is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Tilly good with other animals?

Tilly is good with other dogs. It is not known if Tilly is good with cats.

When can I meet Tilly?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
