Tillie's Story

Tillie believes that the best things in life are cozy naps, snuggling with her favorite humans, and lounging by her beloved space heater! She's a total couch potato who prefers relaxing over playing and food over toys. While she can be a little timid and cautious at first, she is curious, smart, and growing more confident each day. An absolute lover of her people, she would be happiest spending her days close to them, soaking up affection and enjoying all the cozy comforts of home.

Although she may need a little extra patience and understanding as she continues to settle into her new surroundings, she i already a superstar at house training, earning an A+ for being potty trained. She's currently learning how to walk on a leash and crate training is still a work in progress but mainly for overnights. Tillie may do best with a patient adopter who can give her the time, comfort, and consistency she needs to feel safe and secure. With her sweet nature and love of cuddles, she is ready to find a cozy home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace!

Quick stats!

--Dogs: has not been introduced to other dogs in the home
--Cats: has not been introduced to cats in the home
--Children: has not been introduced to children in the home
--Likes: Cozy naps, lounging by her space heater, food, cuddles, being held, and spending time with her favorite humans

If Tillie sounds like the right fit for your home, fill out an adoption application today! muttsofthemidway.org/adopt

Mutts of the Midway's Adoption Policy
Thank you for choosing to adopt and your interest in Mutts of the Midway. Once there is an interest in a dog, our adoption application is completed with that dog noted. The application is vetted and two personal references and one veterinarian reference are checked. If approved, a meet and greet is set-up with all family members (including children and other dogs) and the adoptable dog. If the adopter and foster family agree it is a good fit, the adoption contract is completed and the adoption fee ($350 for a dog 6 months and younger, $300 for a dog older than 6 months) is paid. Finally the pick-up of the new family member is arranged! All applications are processed in the order they are received and we strive to find the best home for each of our dogs. All adopted animals will go into their forever home current on vaccines, microchipped, spay/neutered, heartworm preventative and given a health exam.
