Tilda's Story
Tilda isn’t just another dog here… she’s part of the foundation. She’s been with us longer than most of our staff (and she absolutely knows it!) - even living in our old facility before we moved. If you ask her, this is her shelter… we just work here!

… But behind that queen-of-the-castle energy is a dog who has been waiting far too long for a home of her own. 🩵

Because of her long stay, Tilda isn’t your typical adoption. Sadly, the shelter is where she feels safest, and new environments can be overwhelming at first. She’ll need time, patience, and space to decompress and learn she’s finally home.

Tilda is not a social butterfly - she needs an adopter who respects her boundaries and lets her build trust at her own pace. In a home, she’ll likely prefer a calm, quiet world with a small circle.

Once Tilda opens up, she’s goofy, quirky, and full of personality. From her pushy “pet me” nudges to her joy rolling in the snow or grass - she will absolutely make you smile.

Tilda is looking for someone patient and understanding, someone willing to take a chance on a dog who may not shine right away, but will be incredibly worth it when she does.
