Tiki's Story

This little coco bean is still under 10 pounds and right at 18 weeks of age. She is darling and is really enjoying all the new and exciting things she is learning in her new foster home. She has other dogs with whom she can play, she is learning to walk on a leash, housebreaking, etc. Once her routine is a bit more cement she would definitely benefit from basic obedience work. She is a very sweet little sponge and is a great age for training. She is a puppy so we want her to go to a home with someone who has the time and attention for a puppy and who can front-load the training now so she is a wonderful companion pet for years to come. She will need both physical and mental stimulation to help her develop appropriately. She cannot be left for multiple hours throughout the day in a crate. She is a very tender hearted pup and will need patience and tenderness. Trying to work with her in a firm manner will cause her to shut down. When you are working with her in a calm quiet manner she is very quick to respond with a little tail wag and a kiss. While she is a puppy, she is also an avid couch warmer and loves to spend time with her people. She is a Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka so while she doesn't shed much, if at all, she still requires consistent grooming as well as trips to a professional groomer every so often. It is definitely not self-care hair. If you think you may be the right fit for Tiki, Please email iPAWinc2022@gmail.com for an application.
