Tiki is a sweet coonhound mix with a gentle personality. She loves getting pets and enjoys spending time with people. Tiki is also treat-motivated, making her eager to learn and a great candidate for positive reinforcement training. Tiki has gone on park walks with shelter volunteers. She is so happy to be at the park! Tail wagging throughout, she enjoys sniffing, and she walks well and is very friendly with everyone. After a good walk, she enjoys laying around in the sun. On one park walk she got to play in a river, which she absolutely loved! Tiki is ready to find a loving home where she can share her affectionate nature. If she sounds like she might be a good fit, come by the shelter and meet Tiki! The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!

Adopting an animal is an important decision that will affect you, your household, and the animal for many years to come. Our primary goal is to place animals in a loving and forever home. We strive for the best possible match between you and your new pet. If you do not find the right animal on your first visit to our shelter, please return another day when new animals will be available for adoption. We include as much information as we know about an animal on their information card. We are here to help make a wonderful new addition to your family. Adoption Requirements • Must be 18 years of age or older (seniors 65 and over qualify for the Seniors for Seniors program) • Must have valid ID with current address • Must provide landlord’s name and phone number (or copy of current lease) • All members of the household should be present • You must understand that Berea Animal Rescue must approve your adoption application If this is your first visit, please follow this link, bit.ly/ARFWaiver, to provide us with your household’s information and sign our Animal Contact Waiver. Fees The shelter accepts cash or Mastercard, Visa, or Discover. *If paying in cash, please understand that volunteers are unable to make change.
