Tigress's Story

Tigresss is shy when it comes to meeting new people. It will take her a week or so to warm up to people in a new home and to start feeling comfortable. She is a very loving dog but it is on her terms. She is not a cuddler or one to curl up next to you. She will sleep at your feet though and she prefers to be in the same room as her people. Sh wants to be with people but not demanding of the extra attention other than talking to her and interacting through food and play., <br/>She is doggy door trained, will leash walk, and stays with you throughout the day.

West Texas Diamonds in the Ruff's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is a prescreening application. We will then follow up with a computer or phone interview. If you have a specific dog or cat in mind we will discuss who we feel will be best match for the pet and if they meet those requirements. We do require a homecheck and fence check and ask for vet reference if other pets are already in the home. We do require other pets to already be altered. After wards we do a meet and greet in the home and adoption application. with a 2 week grace period to allow for the pet to settle into the home and bond to the family.
