Tigger's Story

Meet Tigger! Tigger is approximately 2 years old, 67 lbs currently and he is a Mutt! He was found as a stray outside of an elementary school and kept coming back every day to get pets and love from the kids there.

In his southern foster home, he is working hard on his house training, crate training and leash walking. He would LOVE a home with kids 5+. He could also go to a home with dogs and possibly dog-savvy cats.

His foster says "Tigger will be a very loyal dog to his family. He would prefer a kid to play with him throw toys and love on him and be his best friend. He does enjoy playing with other dogs. He will love every family member he gets to enjoy. He is a very sweet boy. At the preschool, he knew which class would run up and down the fence line with him and giggle. If he got tired, he would lay up next to the fence for all of the kids to pet him at the same time. When he saw my daughter, he knew he was getting treats. He would wiggles so much that his entire big body would turn into the letter C. He did eat a few of the toys that the kids threw over for him so he might eat some toys being excited.

I have taken him on walks and he did just fine. He is strong but if you tell him, no, he will normally stop. He has loved everybody at the vets office and giving most of the ladies sweet kisses. I know with him being a black dog he has a few strikes against him, but whoever gets this sweet boy will forever get a best friend and a loving, loving family member."

He is available for adoption by appointment in Hopkinton, MA. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.

-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.
-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.
- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
