Tidbit (Tink)'s Story
Meet Tidbit or "Tink" as her foster mother calls her! A recently groomed mega sweetheart, she's a gentle and affectionate little dog who would thrive in a quieter, calmer environment where she can get the attention she deserves. Tink does great with all dogs and cats. She is pee pad trained but only uses them in cases of emergency as she prefers to do her business outside. She enjoys being outside with her person, and you may catch her doing a quick lap around the yard when the weather is nice. She can go in and out of the house on her own as long as there isn't a huge flight of steps involved. She loves all people but is a little timid at first meeting. While she rarely barks, she may voice her opinion when a stranger comes to the door or if she sees an unruly bird or squirrel outside on the patio. As the little princess she is, Tink prefers your presence when she dines. She is underweight so it helps if she has food available throughout the day. She currently eats wet and dry food. As you might have guessed, Tink is a low-key lap dog. She'd love to sleep in the big bed with you but does not demand it. When you're not home, she'll find a quiet place to sleep. That spot may be behind a chair on a blanket, under the bed, or even on a dog bed in the bathroom. She'll decide where her comfort zone is. Tink wants to be near her person all the time and has recently shown signs of separation anxiety when left alone. Tink has been fully vetted and just completed a dental appointment (yes, she still has teeth!). She has a heart murmur that does not currently require meds but going forward for a safe and healthy future, her cardiologist recommends regular appointments to monitor. Our Tink is a sweet special gal looking for a very committed adopter who will see to her whims and needs. If you think you are the one, please complete an application today!

Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee covers; please consider making a tax-deductible donation by visiting us at https://www.hattonanimalrescue.org/sponsor. Donations help us offset vetting, boarding costs, and additional medical treatments for dogs who need it. For more information on Hatton Animal Rescue, visit our website at: hattonanimalrescue.org.
