Tibbe's Story
Tibbe is available for adoption- Read entire BIO, if you TRULY believe your home can provide Tibbe what HE NEEDS, reach out to us.

He’s (almost 6 yrs young), he’s a wonderful mixed breed (Wisdom Panel as follows: Maltese, Chihuahua, Pomeranian, Shihtzu and Havanese), he is low shedding (NOT HYPOALERGENIC, NO DOG WITH HAIR IS). We’ve had him in a loving foster home with a large dog that he really enjoys. Tibbe has also been at our foundation a few times and he’s mixed and mingled with small, medium and large dogs, of all breeds and sexes. Tibbe also has been exposed to cats, he had zero reaction and would do well in a home with a feline.

To succeed Tibbe would do best with another pet companion in his home. Tibbe would excel with an active family without children. Tibbe enjoys car rides, walks, activities, playing and being groomed, (he should be groomed every 4 weeks). Tibbe would do best with a family who has someone who works from home. He’s housetrained, he does not enjoy crates. He does at times enjoy a good snuggle, he also loves to play with his blankets and toys. He needs time to decompress and bond with his new family, this could take several weeks, once he does, he will be by your side forever. With Tibbe "slow and steady wins the race". He responds well to praise, affection and going at his speed.

We cannot stress enough that "slow and steady wins to race", please realize this. We will only respond to those who want to give Tibbe the time to decompress and want to have him in their home as their forever boy. He's an exceptional dog that deserves and exceptional family.

He does well with men and women, children are overwhelming for him, and he would not succeed in a home with children or visiting children. Tibbe needs your full attention while you are "getting to learn about each other", please no visitors or excessive amount of company until you are both comfortable and then adding in people one at a time. Tibbe also comes with an added bonus of boarding/daycare at our foundation (for vacations), we know his needs and would be happy to have him stay with us as needed. Tibbe also has an established vet and groomer (he loves both) which we can place you in contact with.

He’s an agreeable little chap who truly is a good boy. Tibbe is up to date on vaccines, on monthly nexgard and altered.

Tibbe does have a medical condition that we are actively trying our best to bring to a conclusion. We’ve seen a specialist and will happily speak with those who are serious in adopting him. Tibbe is also on prescription food due to chronic concerns of struvite crystals.

We are raising the bar high for this boy, and we know that we will find his forever home where he will be cherished and loved. Please be willing to fill out an adoption application, have references checked and a meet & greet/home visit.

We are located in the Seattle Metropolitan area; we do not adopt out of State. Application to adopt Tibbe & Adoption FAQ's are on our website, take the time to read our process on adopting one of our dogs.
