She'll stay on her foster's lap for ear rubs, does a little dance when waiting for her meals, and rolls playfully around on her back accepting belly rubs. Her foster has gained her trust and been rewarded by joyful greetings in the morning with Tia launching herself onto the bed wagging her tail like crazy! She sleeps through the night and settles down for a nap when left home alone with the foster's dogs and cat.<br/><br/>Tia is shy but curious when it comes to walking and meeting new people. She's calm and indifferent with cats and other dogs, but enjoys having their company, and would likely be fine living with either as long as they didn't come on too strongly. She'd do best with an adopter who is around a fair bit of the time and has a fenced yard.<br/><br/>Few things are more rewarding than earning the trust of a shy dog. It's a really special experience to became their safe person and give them the foundation to be brave, comfy, and confident. In Tia's case, she doesn't require too much to build this trust.
