Thursday

Thursday is suuuuper smart. He is very jumpy and playful, at first, but he listens well. He understands "no," and will lay down in submission if you tell him "no" when he jumps on you. He also knows "sit," and will sit as soon as you tell him. His recall is pretty good, for a hound. He is super sweet and just wants attention. He likes balls, too, and will nudge them around the yard with his nose. In typical hound fashion, he trees and sniffs around for long periods of time. He will for sure need a fenced in yard to prevent wandering after scent trails. Thursday is seriously such a good boy. He is extremely dog-friendly, kid-friendly (loves little ones), and cat neutral. He appears to have an interest in cats, but even when he was within a foot of them, he seemed to cower with caution as if he was afraid of them (LOL). A home with cats would need a slow introduction with this guy, as cat-testing is only so accurate in a shelter environment.
