Thumper #39688 (2 Years Old)'s Story

Meet Thumper 🐶 — The Biggest Bully Baby Around!

Thumper is a 2-year-old gentle giant with a heart just as big as his head. Don’t let his size fool you — this boy is convinced he’s a lap dog and dreams of a home filled with hugs, kisses, and constant affection.

Thumper thrives on companionship and forms very deep bonds with his people. He experiences separation anxiety and does best in a home where someone will be with him most — or all — of the time. He would love an adopter who works from home, is often around the house, or someone who enjoys bringing their dog along on outings and adventures. The good news is that Thumper does very well in the car and is happy to ride along wherever life takes you.

If Thumper does need to be left alone during the transition into a new home, he may do best starting out in a secure pen or kennel run to help him feel safe and settle in while he adjusts to his new routine.

This handsome boy is very well-mannered and truly lives up to the title of gentle giant. He knows sit, stay, and shake a paw, is very well house-trained, and is a quick learner who enjoys showing off his skills (especially if treats are involved!). He has a refined palate — hot dogs and beef liver are his top-tier favorites. Toys aren’t a huge priority unless it’s a rope toy — he’d much rather interact with you than entertain himself.

Thumper is also a goofy, silly boy who will never fail to make you smile. His playful personality paired with his incredibly loving nature makes him such a special companion. He’s affectionate, loyal, and happiest when he’s by your side.

While Thumper adores humans, he can be selective with other dogs and would need to be the only pet in the home. He’s looking to be the king of the castle and soak up all the love for himself. He is best suited for an adults-only home where his size and enthusiasm can be properly managed.

At the end of the day, Thumper is simply a massive love bug searching for his forever person and a cozy couch to curl up on. If you’re ready for a devoted shadow who will greet you with full-body wiggles and endless affection, Thumper is ready to fill your home — and your heart. 💛

To find out more about our adoption process, please click the link below.

https://www.lapsbc.ca/adopt/dog-adoption-process/
