Hi, I'm Thor! <br/><br/>1 year old | APBT Mix | 44 lbs<br/><br/>If you ask me... life is way too short not to have fun!<br/><br/>I came from a neglect/hoarding case where nine of us were living in conditions no one should ever have to endure. We often had to compete with one another for basic necessities like food and water just to survive. But somehow... none of that took away my happy spirit!<br/><br/> <br/><br/>When I first arrived at the shelter, staff thought I had a badly broken front leg because my right front leg is bent. During my neuter surgery, the veterinarian examined it and believes it's most likely a deformity of my wrist joint that I was born with rather than an old fracture! Since X-rays weren't taken, we can't say that with complete certainty, but one thing is certain...<br/><br/>It doesn't slow me down one bit!! I run, play, zoom around, play with my dog friends, and enjoy life just like any other young dog. I don't let my unique little leg hold me back, and you shouldn't either. <br/><br/>While it has never seemed to bother me, my future family may want to have their own veterinarian evaluate it during my first wellness visit to determine if any additional diagnostics or long-term recommendations would be beneficial. We expect I'll continue to do well with proper introductions. I seem to be cat friendly as well! Based on my friendly, goofy personality, we also expect I'll do well with respectful children. However, I'm a strong rambunctious boy who may accidentally knock them over out of excitement. until I get a little guidance with basic manners.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>I'll likely need a little guidance with potty training and house manners as well, but with a consistent routine, patience, and positive reinforcement, I'll catch on quickly!<br/><br/> <br/><br/>I'm looking for someone who sees past where I came from, smiles at my one-of-a-kind leg, laughs at my goofy personality, and gives me the chance to spend the rest of my life doing what I do best... being a happy dog. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>Neutered, microchipped, Heartworm & Lyme Negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Please allow 24-36 hours for a response. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet!
