Thor is a handsome, affectionate, and loyal guy with a heart as big as his name. Rescued from a high-kill shelter just in time, Thor beat the odds-and even heartworm disease-and is now healthy, happy, and ready for his forever home!

This cuddle-loving goofball is house-trained, fully vetted, and loves people, car rides, and pup cups. At Castoff Pet Rescue, Thor is known as the "office dog" because of his calm presence, good manners, and love for companionship. He's also our go-to for dog-testing-he's that good with friendly, well-mannered dogs.

But Thor's not just sunshine and kisses-he's also a dog with some baggage that needs understanding and experience to unpack. Thor is:

Food aggressive - he must be fed with care and in a controlled environment.

Kennel reactive - he can be reactive toward some dogs and some people when kenneled.
