Meet adoptable Thor (A567652) Thor was recently adopted and returned, and while we wish his first home had worked out, we are genuinely grateful for what the experience taught us about him. It gave us clarity on what he will need in his forever home. We learned that Thor would do best in a home without children. In his previous home he lived with both male and female dogs and did well, and here at the shelter he has continued to test well with female dogs. Thor is already house trained. He enjoys walks, loves car rides and is happiest when he has a toy nearby. He has shown some signs of resource guarding which future adopters should be aware of and willing to work through with a trainer if needed. What we can confidently say is that Thor is a volunteer favorite. His goofy personality and love for walks make us believe he could be an incredible adventure buddy for someone who appreciates a big dog with a big heart. Thor is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs 65 pounds.
