Meet Thomas, a gentle Bernese Mountain Dog who came to us as a stray. When he first arrived, he was very shy and unsure of new people. The world has clearly been a little scary for him. In just under three weeks with us, he has made amazing progress. Thomas is slowly learning that people can be kind, and once he decides you’re safe, he gives his whole heart.<br/><br/>He may be nervous during first introductions, but his sweetness shines through once he builds trust. Thomas is proof that with a little patience and a lot of love, scared dogs can bloom into loyal companions. He has so much love left to give he’s just waiting for the right person to give him the time he needs to adjust.
