Theron

Theron is a 1 year old male German Shorthair Pointer that was running as a stray until he decided to visit the play yard at Diamond Kennels. They were able to confine him and he had a short stay at the Dog Warden's office to complete his stray hold, and came to us for adoption. We are stunned that no one is looking for this handsome boy, but we are seeing more and more dumps and owner surrenders with the purebred dogs. He does NOT appear to have the attributes of a hunting dog but does have the excellent qualities of a true companion and family member. He knows "sit", comes when called, is playful, shows no resource guarding, and enjoys being brushed.
