He has gotten along well with other resident dogs--he just needs a slow, careful introduction period. He's a classic herding dog wants to be by your side and wants to join you in the garden in the summer and in the garage in the winter. He would do well with an experienced dog owner, and even better with someone who has experience with and love for herding dogs.</p><br/><br/><p data-removefontsize="true" data-originalcomputedfontsize="16">He is good with all humans, whether friends or strangers, but he is shy at first. When he feels overwhelmed, he will bark or lunge, so in the city he wears a basket muzzle on walks as a precaution to prevent an inadvertent bite from his reactivity or redirection.</p><br/><br/><p data-removefontsize="true" data-originalcomputedfontsize="16">He has lived with another dog before and might do well with the right match, but he'd be perfectly happy as an only pet in a consistent home where he can just be himself. <span class="term-highlighted">Theo</span> has not been cat tested.</p><br/><br/><p data-removefontsize="true" data-originalcomputedfontsize="16">If you think your home might be the right fit for <span class="term-highlighted">Theo</span>, you can learn more or apply through Rogers' Rescues.
