Meet Theo
REQUIREMENTS - Must have secure fenced yard. No Cats. Applications reviewed for Chatham Kent, Sarnia and Windsor.

Theo was pulled from a kill shelter in Quebec. His previous life was unkind and he had to learn how to be a puppy and a dog. His first foster mom gave him all the time he needed and had lots of patience with him. Theo loves to walk and gets very excited to go when he sees his harness and leash.
Estimated date of birth 2017
He gets overexcited about cats and scares them so no cats is best for Theo. He currently lives with other dogs, he has met other dogs off leash. He can be leash reactive when on a walk due to overstimulation and wanting to meet. Theo can be very vocal which can be intimidating. Someone with experience is a must.
Theo LOVES toys, he will entertain himself with his toys. He can't get enough toys. Sometimes he will guard his toys, if other dogs are around. This happy little guy would do best as the only dog, that is where his heart is. To have a family who love him and want to give him his best life.
He enjoys a crate with the door open and a bed inside. That's his little space to himself.
He is very friendly and loves to greet people. He was not around children in a foster home so we would prefer older children who are respectful of dogs or an adult only home.
With grooming, he does not like having his nails done. His former foster mom (who passed away) clipped his fur and he was fine. He was not groomed often before he came to our rescue. His fur was very long and very matted.
