Thelma's Story
Meet Thelma!

At just 1.5 years old & 40 pounds, Thelma is the perfect mix of sweetness, softness, cuddles, playfulness, and personality all wrapped into one adorable pup. She's still young enough to be playful and silly, but mature enough to have wonderful manners and an easygoing nature.

Thelma is fully housetrained and does beautifully in her crate at night. During the day she's happy to relax in her crate too-especially if her doggy friends are nearby. She's also proven trustworthy when left out of the crate. On walks, Thelma is an absolute dream on the leash, strolling politely and paying little attention to other dogs along the way.

One of Thelma's cutest quirks? When she goes outside, she tends to take care of business and then politely asks to come right back in-unless, of course, her humans are outside with her. Then she's happy to stick around and soak up the attention.

Thelma would do best in a home with another dog companion. She loves having a buddy to play with and would thrive with a dog who can match her energy and doesn't mind sharing toys (and maybe even snacks!). We believe she could do well with cats, and she can be cat tested if needed. She would also likely do fine with respectful kids.

When meeting new people or animals, Thelma can be a little shy at first, but give her a moment and she quickly blossoms into a loving, affectionate companion.

She's also a very smart girl-maybe a little too smart sometimes! Thelma has figured out how to open doors and gates, so it's important that her home keeps entrances and exits secure.

If you're looking for a loyal, loving dog with just the right amount of playfulness and cuddle, Thelma might be your perfect match.

Apply Here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FCOH/Dog

*If you are viewing this profile on Petfinder, please note integration issues between our shelter program and Petfinder often occur and limit what you can see.
