The Grinch's Story
The Grinch is a one-year-old suspected pug–terrier mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s wonderful with other dogs, great with kids, rides nicely in the car, and does well both loose in the house and in a crate for short periods.

He’s a quiet boy overall and usually only speaks up to let you know he needs to go outside. The Grinch is playful with both humans and canine friends, listens well, and is impressively polite on a leash—so much so that when the leash comes off, he often sticks right by your side as if he’s still attached.

One of his many endearing quirks? He prefers to nap on top of his crate instead of inside it when given the option. Add in his adorably mismatched eyes and charming underbite, and you’ve got a pup who is as unique looking as he is lovable.

The Grinch is highly adaptable and tends to match the energy and routine of whoever is caring for him. He would especially thrive in a home with children, as he loves to play and could happily be worn out by an active kiddo. A home with a yard would be a big plus—he enjoys running around and would benefit from plenty of appropriate chew toys (he’s still learning that furniture is not a toy).

His foster says The Grinch is incredibly easy to love, and we agree. He’s silly, sweet, and endlessly entertaining, the kind of dog who brings daily laughter and joy. The Grinch is ready to make a lucky family very happy and very giggly.

Thank you for considering an OTAT-WTX rescue! All pets are living in foster homes, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines.

If you are interested in adopting, or for more information, please visit our website: https://otatwtx.org/how-to-adopt
