Thacker's Story

Oh Thacker, this sweet boy just needs a place to finally call his own. Originally brought in as a stray at only 3 months old, he was adopted out once and brough back because a puppy turned out to be too much for their family. Then he was adopted out again but brought back again because of financial hardship. Neither of these was poor Thackers fault and he is so lost and confused as to why he doesn't have a family. The shelter is the longest place Thacker has ever known. It is so hard for a pup to grow up being bounced around. It is even more unfair that the only people he has been able to count on is our shelter staff. Even though his start was rocky, he remains optimistic and still loves with everything he has. He walks great on a leash and likes other dogs and kids. He doesn't seem to mind cats either! Thacker needs stability, someone who is going to love him unconditionally and someone who isn't going to give up on him. He needs security and a family he knows he can depend on.
