Tex's Story
Tex is 4 months old, mix of a whole lot of awesome things! He’s talk of the town and loves to be out and about meeting new friends just as much as he loves a good nap (two a day-just like a toddler) or going for car rides. He works hard and plays hard and sleeps hard. Great in his crate through the night and for naps and good walking on a leash. He’s working on signaling when it’s time to go out, but no free range marking.
Tex is learning new things every day. He listens well and responds to a few commands. He is a very patient sitter, and takes any opportunity to lay down in the grass and soak up the sun His favorite place to nap is on a lap (at least for now while he’s still a puppy). With big paws, we think he’ll be a solid medium sized dog, but not too stocky.
Being a puppy he is still a bit mouthy, so not recommended in a house with small children. A good outdoor game of fetch followed by a nap keeps the mouthing at bay as he learns to separate play from the rest.
If you’d like to adopt Tex, please complete an application http://bit.ly/FARRapplication
