My name is Tex and I am a 2-year-old male mixed breed who weighs about 40 lbs.<br/><br/>If you took the brains and busy-body personality of a Border Collie and mixed it with the strength, affection, and cuddle skills of a Pit Bull, you might end up with me! We don't know my exact recipe, but that's our best guess-and honestly, I think it's a pretty great combination.<br/><br/>I'm a smart, energetic, affectionate young guy who wants to be involved in whatever you're doing. I have plenty of energy to burn, so my future family should be ready for walks, adventures, training, playtime, and plenty of opportunities to keep my brain busy. A bored dog can find his own entertainment, and trust me, you probably want to be the one choosing my activities!<br/><br/>Once the fun is over, though, I am very happy to switch into cuddle mode. I've got that classic Pitty talent for leaning into my people and soaking up affection.<br/><br/>I also do well in our playrooms with the other dogs and enjoy having canine friends around.
