Tessie

Sweet Tessie!
Tessie is a smart, sweet, 24-lb Blue Heeler/terrier mix approaching her second birthday, and she is ready to find her forever home. Once she feels safe, Tessie is the ultimate Velcro dog - deeply loyal, gentle, and overflowing with affection. She already has wonderful household manners: she walks beautifully on a leash, knows how to sit on command, and is fully crate trained for nighttime (often happily choosing her crate for quiet daytime naps, too).
Tessie is naturally submissive and enjoys playtime and the company of other small-to-medium dogs, though large or high-energy pups tend to overwhelm her. Because she needs a little patience, time, and space to blossom out of her shell, she will thrive best in a calm, adult-only home or one with older children who understand her gentle nature. If you are looking for a devoted companion whose entire heart will be yours once trust is built, Tessie might be your perfect match.
