Tess is just about 6 months old and has an appointment to be spayed on August 24th. At this time, she can either leave on our foster to adopt program, or her adoption can be paid for up front, and the shelter can hold her until after she is sterilized. Meet and greets required with any dogs currently in the home. She is current on vaccinations. She will not receive a heartworm test from us, as our vet doesn't do them until a year old. -Cats are same day adoptions. -Dogs are NOT same day adoptions. -We require home visits with the dogs. This means you take the dog home for about a week to ensure that dog is a good fit for your life. Adoptions can be finalized after the home visit is complete. We understand some people are not local, and we can work around that to accommodate the needs of all parties involved. -Meet and greets are required for any dog adoptions where there is already a dog in the home. -CAT ADOPTIONS REQUIRE CARRIERS TO LEAVE THE BUILDING! -DOG ADOPTIONS REQUIRE A LEASH TO LEAVE THE BUILDING!
