Tessa's Story

Check out this most gorgeous little 7 pound girl. Tessa is super soft and will cuddle and receive kisses when held, but she’s still afraid to be picked up. She came to us with her BFF Kevin who was even more terrified upon arrival. He has since warmed up but Tessa will need some time and patience to heal from her terrifying life.<br/><br/>Tessa and Kevin were found in a pen on the side of a river with a bunch of other sick and terrified dogs. She’s only a few years old but she’s been through a lot. Luckily she’s learning to love life. She plays well with other dogs and she loves puppies. It will take her some time to trust humans but she’s on her way and she’s well worth the wait.
