My name is Tess and I’m an 8-week-old puppy, 3.5 lbs. Dachshund mix / black color female. My mom Cici is taking good care of me so soon I’ll be ready to be on my own. I need a patient family to show me the ropes and help me grow up strong and healthy. I’m a bundle of joy! All BCAR dogs are placed as indoor family pets. No electric fences, please. WHY ADOPT FROM BIG CANOE ANIMAL RESCUE? We are a community no kill animal rescue. We have over 50 volunteers who work at the shelter 3 times a day, 7 days a week. We are small enough to give each dog or puppy individual attention each day.
