Tess and Tilly - COMING SOON

Meet Tess and Tilly. These sisters came into the rescue from a puppy mill where there were void of love and attention. They are 4 years old, up-to-date on all vaccinations, have been heartworm tested negative and are spayed.<br/><br/>Both of these girls are still a little skittish. They are getting better with touch but still tense up if you try to pet them or pick them up. With time and patience, they will get better as they become comfortable with their new family and home.<br/><br/>Tilly is doing well at our Meet and Greet events and loves to walk around the store and is interacting with people. She is very treat motivated. Her tail is always wagging. Tess is a little more timid, but is getting more comfortable and has started coming out of her shell and is walking up to greet people when they stop by. This is a huge step for her. Tess and Tilly would do well in a calm environment, as they startle easily.<br/><br/>The girls find comfort and security with each other so we are looking for a home where they will stay together. This will help them adjust and gain confidence in experiencing their new life. Because of their nervousness, they will require a fenced yard.<br/><br/>Tess and Tilly's new family will need to be extremely patient with them and be willing to work with them to help them to blossom, understanding that it may take some time for them to fully trust them and to feel comfortable in their new home.<br/><br/>If you are interested in meeting Tess and Tilly, they are scheduled to be at Pet Supplies Plus in Howell (2649 E. Grand River) on Sundays from 11-2 at our Meet and Greet event.<br/><br/>It is helpful for you to bring pictures and/or videos of your backyard fenced area.
