Terrence's Story

Meet Terrence!

Terrence (aka “Tornado Terrence”) is the goofiest little whirlwind you will ever meet! When they made Terrence, they definitely turned the playfulness all the way up. He has never met a dog, cat, person, tree, chair, or random object he didn’t immediately try to turn into a playmate. He’s about 2 years old, 20 lbs, and an extremely silly pup with an adorable underbite to match.

Despite all that energy, Terrence doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He just wants to be best friends with everyone, even if they don’t quite feel the same way. He is incredibly friendly and social and does fantastic with dogs of all sizes. He’s even been living happily with his foster’s Great Dane. While he may overwhelm a more reserved or senior dog, he would be an amazing match for another playful, high-energy pup. His play style is bouncy, enthusiastic, and submissive.

Terrence LOVES toys, sticks, and anything he can carry around. He will happily entertain himself (or you) for hours with his favorite stuffies.

He does great in his crate, though he may whine if he knows you’re home and he’s in another room. At night, he sleeps happily in his crate in his foster’s bedroom. He is house trained and walks well on a leash, but he does get easily distracted by... everything. Sticks, rocks, leaves, the wind, you name it. He’ll need an attentive walker to help keep him focused. Terrence likes cats, but some cats may not appreciate his attempts to play with them.

Terrence is a sweet, goofy pup who would be a perfect fit for someone with a sense of humor and an active lifestyle. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can burn off all that energy, and he would also do great with children.

Terrence is neutered and up to date on all core vaccines.

If you are ready for a goofy best friend with a big heart and even bigger personality, Terrence is ready to meet you!
