Hi, I'm Teo! I made it all the way from California to Illinois, and now I'm ready for the part of my journey that really matters. Finding my family. I'm a handsome tan Lab mix with a big, boxy head, a sweet personality, and two very effective ways to get my attention: bring a ball or bring treats. I'm moderate energy, rarely bark, walk nicely on leash, and I'm happy just being included in whatever my people are doing.<br/><br/>I'm good with my crate and keep it clean, and I'm working on putting the finishing touches on my potty training. I've done well with other dogs with proper introductions, although smaller dogs and little animals can really catch my attention. I can also be territorial, so structure and thoughtful introductions are important for me. I'm good around kids who are comfortable with bigger dogs—sometimes I get excited and forget just how big this adorable head of mine is! I'm a really good boy who does well with guidance, and like any dog, I'll benefit from a family who continues giving me consistency, structure, and opportunities to keep learning.<br/><br/>What I really want is pretty simple. Walks together, a ball to chase, treats to earn, and a family who wants me around. I've already traveled a long way for my second chance. Now I'm hoping I've finally arrived where I'm meant to be.
