THIS is the kind of pal everyone needs in their life!!!

This is Tennie ... her name was Tennessee , but now the reminds me of whiskey. And although she is smooth and sweet and from Tennessee, we call her Tennie for short,

Tennie's parents apparently went through a divorce and gave her to a pal of theirs as NEITHER could afford to take her.
THE PAL had a small child that woke up Tennie in a deep sleep when she stepped on her ....and she growled as many dogs would.
That was it- OUT goes Tennie.
Tennie was brought BACK to her initial owner. He swung right around and gave her to the animal hospital to be euthanized. IMAGINE?
"Dr. M " refused to euthanize...... She is healthy and sweet and had a moment of a growl. ( I might, too if someone stepped on me in REM sleep!)
OK so no Toddlers and uber young children.... but don't euthanize her for a simple mistake! Technically, it's the adults mistake as the child doesn't KNOW any better- NOR does the dog! And Adults should be aware that she is blind in one eye!

'Dr M' Called his pal at Little Rhody ..... and well here she is!
She is about 6 years old and blind in one eye. It was caused by a trauma very early in her days. We asked her what happened , but she won't tell us.
