Templeton's Story

Meet Templeton!
What exactly IS Templeton? Cattle dog? Beagle? Shepherd? Potato? Your guess is as good as ours. We may never solve the mystery, but we do know one thing for sure: whatever breeds went into this recipe, they made one cuddly dog.

Templeton loves getting attention more than anything, but he also has a passion for squirrel surveillance. We haven’t tested him with cats, but given his enthusiasm for chasing things, we suspect he may consider a cat to be an exciting new assignment rather than a roommate.

Templeton loves being with people of all ages and will gently shove his face into your personal space for attention. If you’re looking for a dog who will happily keep you company, accept an unreasonable number of pets, and make sure you’re never lonely again, he’s your guy.

To meet Templeton, please fill out our adoption application at: https://hsfc.org/adoptions/applications/online/
