Temple's Story

****UPDATE**** Temple is now HEARTWORM NEGATIVE!!!! While Temple has been with us over a year she has made some progress with her fears. More times than not she will now take treats and wag her happy tail for us. She has continued to room with Vera and they are besties. Other dogs have been added to the play groups and she seems to do well. She continues to be nervous with a lot of chaos. NONE OF HER FEARS RESULT IN ANY TYPE AGGRESSION! Her perfect home would be a confident dog, a calm environment, and someone to show her love unconditionally as she learns to trust. PLEASE GIVE THIS GIRL A CHANCE.

Temple # 23233 Female Mix, estimated age 3 years. Estimated weight 65lbs.
Heartworm positive.
Temple is a special lady. She came to us with several open wounds and had to be hospitalized for several days. We have no way to know what happened to her but this poor girl looked like she had been torn up by another animal. She was skin and bones. As you see, she has plumped up nicely. Due to the previous horror she has experienced she is very very shy.
We are looking for a very special home for Temple. She will need lots of love and a quiet & calm home. She is dog selective. She and her roomie, Vera get along fine. They are side by side and go outside to the play yard together.
Are you looking to make a real difference in the life of a dog?
